Saybrook Fieldwork Underway

Archaeological fieldwork has begin at the site of Saybrook Fort, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, to search for a Pequot War era structure, the fort of Lieutenant Lion Gardiner built in 1635. This site was at and near several Pequot War battles.
